Built-in Iomega Personal Cloud Technology

Cloud technology is completely self-owned – so the content and accessibility is always under your control.

cloud access and protection.
With two or more StorCenter devices, the Personal Cloud allows you to automatically replicate data from
your primary business to another location. Keeping this off-site copy ensures data availability in the
event of an unforeseen disaster. The Personal Cloud also offers users remote access to files from remote
locations – allowing members of the cloud to easily view, edit, and share files from outside the office.
Security safeguards, such as encryption and password protection, ensure that the data stored in the
Personal Cloud cannot be accessed by unauthorized users. Maintaining complete control over your

users to store and manage all of their valuable data on one centralized,
secure, affordable storage appliance.
• System Status Dashboard. The EMC LifeLine system status dashboard
provides a one-stop-shop for space usage, device information, control,
and status. If one of these components has encountered an error, you are
linked to the page that requires your attention.
• RAID Support. RAID 0, 1, 5, 10, 5+1 (hot spare) and 6 (StorCenter®
px6-300d only) and, all with automatic RAID rebuild and hot swap

• Dual Power Supply Option. Simply add a second accessory power supply for
1+1 redundancy in the px4-300r. Product ships with a single power supply.
• iSCSI target. Provides block-level access for the most efficient storage
utilization, especially for backup, database and email application
performance. It can be used in parallel with file-level storage access
via CIFS/NFS. Includes support for SCSI-3 persistent reservations.
• Sharing. Access files from any networked Windows® PC, Linux® or Mac®
for easy file sharing, data backup and print serving.
• Print Server. Intelligent print sharing capability for up to three USB printers
directly connected to the StorCenter px series.

of video cameras and management and storage of surveillance content.
• Cloud Backup Options. Back up selected files directly from your StorCenter
to the MozyConnect™ or Amazon S3™ storage clouds for off-site safekeeping
of important data. Additional charges apply.
• Time Machine®. StorCenter px series will serve as a Time Machine target
for your Apple® computer backups.
• User Quotas. Manage capacity by setting a maximum for shared storage.
• UPS Support. Enables unattended system shutdown via the USB port
without data loss in the case of power failure.
• UPnP® and DLNA® certified. StorCenter px series will work seamlessly
with digital products you may own or buy from different manufacturers
allowing you to save, store and stream all kinds of multimedia files.
• Expandability. Add storage capacity by connecting external USB
Hard Disk Drives; read and write on Fat32, NTFS, HFS+, or ext2/ext3
formatted hard disks.

series includes a standard three-year warranty with U.S.-based phone
support thirteen hours a day, five days a week. Optional service plans
